About Cernitin (cernilton)
 

Cernitin, generic name cernilton, is an extract made of pollen. Producents of cernitin typically gather pollen from wild plants for production of cernitin. Chemically cernitin is a complex blending of fat-soluble and water-soluble substances of types like: vitamins, amino acids, nucleic acids, minerals, long chained alcohols, unsaturated fatty acids, precursors for producteion of the tissue hormons prostaglandins, enzymes and plant hormones

It is used to treat benign hyperthrophy of the prostate and symptoms caused by this. When using cernitine urine flow often  improves after a short time. Redidual urine in the bladder also decreases after a short time. The extract also helps to decrease pain in the prostate (prostatodynia). After some longer time the prostate may also get smaller. These effects have been proven by clinical research projects using a dosage of a dosage of 126 mg (2 tablets, 63 mg each.)

The effects of cernitine seems to occur because the extract counteracts inflammation and because it blocks some of the physiological effects of male sexual hormon on the prostate.

There are evidence suggesting that cernitin protects the liver from damage by toxins and may protect against the growth of certain types of prostate cancer, but these areas are less well researched.

Muira pauma is a South American group of two bushes or trees growing up to 5 meters tall, belonging to the family Olacaceae. The plants grow in the rain forest.  Parts of the plant is used as aphrodisiacs and as medical herbs with nerve regulation as the basic principle. Other names of the group are marapuama , potency wood  or raiz del macho.

Botannical facts:

Muira pauma is a group (genus) of 2 small trees of the genus Ptychopetalum that usually get 15 feet high. The trees have white flowers.

The species used as medical herbs and sexually stimulating herbs are Ptychopetalum olacoides Benth. and Ptychopetalum uncinatum Anselmino 

Botanically the trees used are placed as such: The Plantae Division - Magnoliophyta, the class - Magnoliopsida, the  order - Santalales,  the family - Olacaceae, and the genus - Ptychopetalum.

Habitat and growth condition: The trees  grow natively in Brazil in the Amzonas region.

Production and preparation: The root of the treas are used to make ectracts. Also the bark and leaves contain working substances. The ectracts are usually made by alcohol or similar chemicals that can disolve both fatty substances and water solluble substances. The ectract can then be made into a tincture, or dried to a powder.

A watery decoction of the root can also be made and then used orally, or as an external ointment.
